The process described here will delete your data from Nuwber's databases. However, you'll still need to complete similar steps with other data brokers (including Intelius and PeekYou) to ensure that your details are virtually impossible to find online.
First, create an account on an email without your name or personally identifying information. The more generic the account, the better. This email will be used to complete the Nuwber removal process. To finalize your removal, you'll need to click on a link in a confirmation email.
Go to Nuwber to search for your name. This includes all variations online, such as professional names, maiden and nickname names, full and middle names, and even the name of your spouse.
After you click on the search button, a note will appear that says: "Nuwber doesn't provide consumer reports and isn't a consumer reporting agency according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act/FCRA." Before you can view the results page, please read through the fine print and then click on I Agree.
